A Heartfelt Thank You to the Reg Johnson Foundation
With immense gratitude and a heavy heart, we reflect on a truly special evening held in memory of Reg Johnson, a much-loved man from Goosnargh who sadly passed away ten years ago from a heart attack. Reg’s legacy continues to inspire kindness and generosity, and last night’s charity dinner at The Three Fishes in Mitton was a beautiful tribute to his life and the impact he had on so many.

Representing Heartbeat, Sally and our dedicated volunteer Julie were honored to attend the event, which was filled with warmth, remembrance, and community spirit. It was clear from the heartfelt stories and tributes shared that Reg is deeply missed, but his memory lives on through the work of the Reg Johnson Foundation. We are incredibly grateful that the Foundation chose Heartbeat as their charity for the evening. Their generosity and support will go directly toward helping us continue our mission of supporting over 1,000 members across the North-West, many of whom rely on our services for cardiac rehabilitation, education, and ongoing care.
Special thanks go to Kara, Alex, and Norma, who welcomed us with open arms and ensured the evening was filled with kindness and fellowship. Their efforts, along with everyone involved in organizing the dinner, made the event not only a tribute to Reg but also a celebration of community and compassion. The donations raised will make a tangible difference in the lives of those we serve, providing resources, programs, and support that help individuals and families navigate the challenges of heart disease. We look forward to welcoming the Reg Johnson Foundation team to our HQ soon, where we can share firsthand how their generosity is changing lives.
As we reflect on the evening, we are reminded that Reg’s spirit of giving continues to shine through the Foundation’s work. His legacy is one of love, kindness, and community—a legacy that inspires us all to do more for those in need.
