In Loving Memory of Yulan Wang

With a heavy heart, we share the tragic passing of Mrs. Yulan Wang, age 61, who was fatally shot at her residence in Baldwin Park, Los Angeles County. The coroner’s office has confirmed her identity, and the official manner of death has been ruled as homicide, caused by a gunshot wound to the head.

This devastating act of violence claimed the lives of both Mrs. Wang and her husband, Mr. Qiufu Jiang, leaving their family and community in profound grief. The incident, which occurred in the early hours of November 17, has shaken Baldwin Park and serves as a painful reminder of the destructive impact of domestic violence.

Mrs. Wang was more than the circumstances of her death. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a cherished friend. Known for her gentle spirit and unwavering kindness, she touched countless lives with her compassion and warmth. Her presence brought comfort to those around her, and her legacy will endure through the memories she created with family and friends.

Her sudden death has left loved ones facing unimaginable sorrow. The family must now navigate life without her guidance, love, and support, while also coping with the loss of Mr. Jiang. The tragedy has also left a young child critically injured, deepening the pain felt by all who knew and loved Mrs. Wang.

As we mourn, we also celebrate the life she lived. Her devotion to family, her resilience, and her ability to uplift others will forever remain in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her. In moments of grief, we find solace in faith and remembrance. Scripture reminds us:
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18

We trust that Mrs. Wang is now embraced in eternal peace, reunited with her husband, and free from suffering. Our prayers are lifted for her family, especially the children, that they may be surrounded by strength, comfort, and healing during this time of loss.

Let us honor Mrs. Wang not for the tragedy of her death, but for the beauty of her life. May her soul rest in peace, and may her legacy of love and compassion continue to shine in the hearts of all who mourn her.

RIP Yulan Wang (November 17, 2025)
