In Loving Memory of Mrs. Laurie Ranstead
With a heavy heart, we share the passing of Mrs. Laurie Ranstead, who departed this life on the afternoon of November 20, 2025, at the age of 58. Laurie passed peacefully in the ICU at FHN, surrounded by her daughter, Kiah Ranstead, and her dear friend Andy, who remained by her side until her final moments. Her death was the result of complications from pneumonia, which led to septic shock and ultimately caused her body to shut down despite life support measures.
Laurie’s passing has left her family and friends in profound grief. She was a woman of grace, strength, and kindness whose presence brought comfort and joy to those around her. Known for her warm heart and unwavering devotion to her loved ones, Laurie lived a life marked by compassion and resilience. Her legacy will endure in the countless lives she touched with her generosity and love. Her daughter Kiah, who writes on her behalf, shares that Laurie’s final days were met with courage and dignity.
