In Loving Memory of David Elder

With a heavy heart, we share the sudden and tragic passing of Mr. David Elder, who died on November 20, 2025, as the result of a road traffic accident. David, of 7 Armour Avenue, Ballymoney, was a beloved son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose death has brought profound sorrow to his family and community.
David was the cherished son of Robert and Jean Elder, and his life was marked by devotion to family and loyalty to those he loved. He was a much-loved father to Gary and David, and a proud granda to Aveaha, who brought him immense joy. His role as a father and grandfather was central to his life, and he poured his heart into nurturing, guiding, and supporting his children and grandchild. He was also a dear brother to Gary, and a respected brother-in-law, uncle, and nephew. David’s presence was a source of strength and comfort to his extended family, and his sudden death leaves an irreplaceable void in their lives. Known for his kindness, his quiet humor, and his steadfast character, David will be remembered with deep affection by all who knew him.
The community of Ballymoney mourns alongside his family, recognizing the loss of a man who embodied dedication, love, and resilience. His passing is a reminder of the fragility of life and the importance of treasuring every moment with those we hold dear.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Air Ambulance Northern Ireland, c/o DJM Robinson & Son, 121 Culcrum Road, Cloughmills, BT44 9DT, in honor of David’s memory and in recognition of the vital service provided to the community.
David will be lovingly remembered for his devotion to family, his loyalty to friends, and his enduring presence in the lives of those who were blessed to know him. His legacy will live on in the hearts of his children, grandchild, and all who mourn his passing.
