In Loving Memory of Angela Dianne Fitzgerald

With a heavy heart, we share the passing of Ms. Angela Dianne Fitzgerald, age 59, of Danville, Virginia. Angela passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, leaving behind a legacy of love, resilience, and devotion to her family and community.
Born on January 7, 1966, in Danville, Angela was the beloved daughter of the late Matthew Hall and Brenda Fitzgerald Snippers, who survives. She grew up surrounded by family and faith, values that shaped her into the caring, compassionate woman she became. Angela’s life was defined by her unwavering love for her children — Keiona Owens, Darious Fitzgerald, and Devonta Wooding — who were her greatest joy and accomplishment.Angela was known for her warm spirit, her ability to bring people together, and her dedication to those she loved. Friends and relatives recall her kindness, her laughter, and her strength in the face of life’s challenges. She was a woman who gave selflessly, always offering support and encouragement to those around her. Her presence was a source of comfort, and her absence will be deeply felt.
Visitation will be held at the family residence, 506 Mowbray Arch, Danville, VA, from Saturday, November 22, through Monday, November 24, 2025, between 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at Mt. Freeman Baptist Church, 2100 Laniers Mill Road, Danville, VA, beginning at 12:00 p.m., with a visitation one hour prior. Interment will be private. Wilson Funeral Services and Cremation, Inc. is assisting the Fitzgerald family during this time of sorrow.
Angela’s passing is a reminder of the fragility of life and the importance of cherishing every moment with those we love. Though she is no longer with us, her memory will live on in the hearts of her children, her mother, and the many relatives and friends who were blessed to know her.Our deepest condolences are extended to Angela’s family and friends.
