In Loving Memory of Delphine Manning

With a heavy heart, we share the tragic passing of Mrs. Delphine Manning, age 65, who died on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, as the result of a house fire at her residence on West Cleveland Street in Dillon County, South Carolina. The Dillon County Coroner’s Office, led by Coroner Donnie Grimsley, confirmed her identity and reported that her body will be taken to the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston for an autopsy.
Delphine’s sudden death has left her family, friends, and community in profound grief. Known for her kindness, strength, and devotion to those she loved, she was a woman whose presence brought comfort and joy to many. Her passing is not only a heartbreaking loss for her loved ones but also a reminder of the fragility of life and the importance of cherishing every moment we are given. The Dillon Police Department, Dillon Fire Department, Dillon County Coroner’s Office, and SLED are investigating the circumstances surrounding the fire. While the investigation continues, her family and community focus on honoring her memory and the impact she made during her lifetime.
Delphine will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her loyalty to family, and her ability to bring light into the lives of those around her. She was a beloved daughter, sister, friend, and neighbor whose legacy of love and compassion will endure in the hearts of all who mourn her passing. Though her journey ended far too soon, her spirit will continue to guide and inspire those who knew her.
