Freddie was a man remembered for his kindness, generosity, and warm spirit. He never met a stranger, always welcoming others with a smile and a conversation that left them feeling valued. His presence was a gift to his community, and his legacy will endure in the countless lives he touched. Many will remember seeing Freddie in Texarkana, where he often visited with his beloved companion, Janice Austin. Just this past weekend, he spent cherished time with his sister Helen and his favorite niece Star Collins, creating memories that now serve as a final, treasured good night. His family recalls his laughter, his gentle nature, and his unwavering love for those closest to him.
Freddie’s sudden passing has left a massive void, especially for his children and extended family. His niece Star shared heartfelt words: “This is our last good night. Pray for us and his family in Texas and everyone traveling for his service.” These sentiments reflect the depth of grief and the enduring love that surrounds Freddie’s memory.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Silver Oaks Baptist Church, 16460 FM 1442, Orange, Texas 77632. Family and friends will gather to honor his life, celebrate his legacy, and find comfort in faith and community.
