With a heavy heart, we share the unexpected passing of Mr. Randy Wink, of Ridgetown, Ontario, who died on November 17, 2025. His death has left his family, friends, and community in deep mourning, as they remember a man whose passion for the culinary arts and devotion to his loved ones defined his life.
Randy’s journey began in his youth, where he excelled in football and golf during his high school years. His love for learning and creativity led him to Toronto, where he pursued his dream of culinary excellence. After college, he remained in the city, building a career and eventually meeting his beloved wife, Melissa. Together, they built a family filled with love, raising three children — two daughters and a son — who became the center of Randy’s world.
Earlier this year, tragedy struck when Melissa passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on June 5, 2025. Randy, despite his own health challenges, carried the weight of grief while continuing to provide for his children. Known for his tireless work ethic, he often put his own well-being aside to ensure his family was cared for. Yet, following Melissa’s passing, Randy recognized the importance of prioritizing his health for the sake of his children. He began working toward becoming a healthier version of himself, motivated by his deep love and commitment to his family.
Randy’s sudden passing is a profound loss. He will be remembered for his quiet strength, his resilience in the face of hardship, and his unwavering devotion as a husband and father. His culinary passion, his kindness, and his ability to inspire others will remain etched in the hearts of those who knew him.
As the community grieves, they also celebrate the life Randy lived — a life of love, sacrifice, and dedication.
