In Loving Memory of Christian Howard

With a heavy heart, we share the tragic passing of Mr. Christian Howard, age 25, who died on Wednesday afternoon, November 19, 2025, following a head-on collision with a logging truck on Highway 701 North near the Bucksport community. According to Chief Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard, Christian was ejected from his vehicle after it struck a curb and overturned during the crash. Despite the swift response of Horry County Fire Rescue, dispatched at 2:01 p.m., his injuries proved fatal. The South Carolina Highway Patrol, with assistance from the Horry County Police Department, continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding this devastating accident.
Christian’s sudden death has left his family, friends, and community in profound grief. At only 25 years old, his life was full of promise, and his passing is a heartbreaking reminder of the fragility of life. Known for his vibrant spirit and the love he carried for those closest to him, Christian will be remembered for his kindness, his laughter, and the joy he brought into the lives of others.
Though his journey ended far too soon, his legacy will endure in the hearts of his loved ones. His family, friends, and neighbors will forever cherish the memories they shared with him, holding close the moments of happiness and love that defined his life. May Christian rest in eternal peace.
