In Loving Memory of Frank Wesley Davies IV
October 8, 1994 – November 15, 2025
With a heavy heart, we share the passing of Mr. Frank Wesley Davies IV, who entered the loving and merciful presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, November 15, 2025. His death has left his family, friends, and community in deep sorrow, as they remember a young man whose kindness, gentle spirit, and devotion to loved ones touched countless lives.
Born on October 8, 1994, Frank was a graduate of Mountain Brook High School and a man who embraced life with humility and joy. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Frank Wesley Davies Jr. of Mountain Brook and Bob Davis of Dothan, and is survived by his grandmothers, Patsy Bonner Davis and Miriam Rew Davies; his parents, Alison D. and Frank W. Davies III; his brother, Patrick D. Davies; his loving partner, Susan E. Trotman; his cherished son, Robert Zeigler Davies; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who will forever hold his memory close.
Frank, lovingly known as Wesley, was a man of quiet strength and compassion. He loved music, fishing, and the outdoors, finding peace and joy in nature’s beauty. Friends recall his sweet smile, his shy yet easygoing ways, and his ability to make others feel seen and valued. He was the kind of friend who would laugh at your joke even if it wasn’t funny, offering encouragement and warmth in the simplest of gestures.
Though his journey was long and difficult, Wesley’s life was filled with love. His family reflects on the many moments of joy, resilience, and faith that defined his days. His passing is a sorrowful end, but his legacy of kindness and devotion will endure.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Mary’s on the Highlands, where family and friends will gather to honor God’s love for Wesley and the impact he made on their lives. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Wesley by loving God, your neighbor, and your family with all your might, and by giving to a charity of your choice in Jesus’ name.
Our deepest condolences are extended to Wesley’s family and loved ones. May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may his memory remain a guiding light for all who mourn him.
