Lamar’s life was cut short in the early morning hours of Friday, November 21, 2025, following a shooting on North High Street in downtown Columbus. His death has left his family, friends, and the entire community in profound grief, mourning the loss of a young man remembered for his vibrant energy, compassionate spirit, and the deep connections he built with those around him.
Lamar was known for his enthusiasm for life and his ability to bring joy to others. His presence was magnetic, and he had a gift for making people feel valued and included. Friends and loved ones recall his laughter, his kindness, and his unwavering support during both good times and difficult moments. He was a son, a friend, and a community member whose absence leaves a void that words cannot fill. Though only 25, Lamar’s life was filled with potential and promise.
