In Loving Memory of Qiufu Jiang
With a heavy heart, we share the tragic news of the death of Mr. Qiufu Jiang, age 61, who was fatally shot alongside his beloved wife, Mrs. Yulan Wang, at their residence in Baldwin Park, Los Angeles County. The coroner’s office has confirmed his identity, and the official manner of death has been ruled as homicide, caused by a gunshot wound to the head.
This devastating act of violence has shaken not only the family but the entire Baldwin Park community. Mr. Jiang was more than the circumstances of his passing; he was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a respected member of his community. His life was marked by kindness, humility, and a quiet strength that inspired those around him. Together with his wife, he built a home filled with love, resilience, and compassion. The sudden loss of both Mr. Jiang and Mrs. Wang has left their family facing unimaginable grief. Their children and loved ones must now navigate life without the guidance, warmth, and support of two extraordinary individuals. Adding to this tragedy, a young child was critically injured during the attack, reminding us of the far-reaching pain caused by senseless violence.
As we mourn, we also remember the legacy Mr. Jiang leaves behind. His dedication to family, his gentle spirit, and his unwavering love will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
